This is made by taking into consideration the results of the National Center Test for University Admissions, the separate academic achievement tests etc. held by this university and the screening of the applicants’ dossiers.
2. Special selection
This covers admissions by recommendation, admission of students entering from the work force, and admission of Japanese students returning from overseas.
3. Admissions Office Entrance Examination (AO Entrance examination)
This is an open application system entrance examination that does not require an official recommendation and for which anyone can apply if they so wish, providing they meet certain requirements.
4. Selection of privately funded overseas students for admission
Applicants who do not possess Japanese nationality and do meet certain requirements are exempt from the National Center Test for University Admissions; the selection is based on consideration of the results of academic achievement tests etc. and the screening of their documentation. The selection is based on different criteria than those for Japanese applicants.
5. Applications from persons with disabilities etc.
