環日本海域環境研究センターがタイ国立遺伝子生命工学研究センターと部局間交流協定を締結
　Conclusion of the Faculty-Level Agreement with the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

10月25日，金沢大学環日本海域環境研究センターは，タイ国立遺伝子生命工学研究センターと部局間交流協定を締結しました。この協定は，海洋生物資源の持続・発展可能な生産に向けた調査・研究を核とした海洋関係の研究活動を推進する目的で締結したものです。

また，本協定の調印式に先立ち，タイ国立遺伝子生命工学研究センターのソムヴォン・トラグンルン所長ほか3名が山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問し，本学との今後の交流促進について積極的に意見が交わされました。

 

On October 25, the Institute of Nature and Environmental Technology concluded a Faculty-Level Agreement for Cooperation and Exchange with the National Science and Technology Development Agency, acting through the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC). As a basis for this agreement, we will promote research for the sustainable and viable production of marine living resources.

Before the ceremony, executive director Dr. Somvong Tragoonrung and three staff members belonging to the BIOTEC met with President Koetsu Yamazaki, where positive discussions were held on future exchanges.
