４月５日、駐日ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ大使館よりシニシャ・ベリャン駐日大使が来学し，山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問しました。今年，日本とボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナとの外交関係樹立より25周年を迎え、石川県をご訪問のこの機会に来学。ご自身が東サラエボ大学にて科学，研究開発担当副学長を務められた経験をお持ちのベリャン大使は，高等教育機関間の交流に強い関心をお持ちであり，ともに総合大学である東サラエボ大学と本学との今後の交流の可能性について活発な意見が交わされました。
On April 5, H.E. Sinisa BERJAN, PhD, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Japan. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Japan, His Excellency was a Vice-Rector/Vice-Director for Science at the University of East Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. With his background as an academician, Ambassador BERJAN has a strong interest in cooperation between institutions of higher education. There were vigorous discussions about possibilities for cooperation in various fields between the University of East Sarajevo and KU.
