令和2年度金大祭について
新型コロナウイルス感染症の収束が見通せない状況の中，感染症拡大防止と安全確保の観点から，例年通りの金大祭を開催することは困難であると判断いたしました。
しかし，年に1度開催される金大祭は各種公認課外活動団体のこれまでの成果を発表・披露する大切な機会となっていること。また，例年春に行われる新入生歓迎祭や対面による勧誘活動が行われていないため団体によっては新入生の確保ができず，活動の継続に影響がでていること。さらには，登学する機会が少なかったことから，学生間のタテヨコのつながりが構築されず相談したり話したりできる先輩や友人がいないというストレスを抱えている新入生が少なくないこと。以上の事を総合的に勘案し検討を重ねた結果，令和2年度は，新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大防止対策を十分に行った上で，新入生に対し各種公認課外活動団体の活動内容を対面で紹介し勧誘を行うことを目的とする金大祭を，以下のとおり実施することとしました。
紅葉の始まる秋の角間キャンパスでの金大祭を楽しみにされていた地域の皆さまには，大変残念なお知らせとなりますが，何卒ご理解いただきますようお願いいたします。
【令和2年度金大祭】
・開催期間：令和2年10月31日（土）～11月1日（日）
・参加対象者：令和2年度新入生に限定
・開催場所：角間キャンパス屋内運動場（体育館）

About Kanazawa University Festival in 2020
Kanazawa University has judged it difficult to hold Kanazawa University Festival as usual in while preventing the spread of COVID-19 and ensuring safety in light of the situation that COVID-19 is unlikely to be settled.
However, the annual Kanazawa University Festival is an important opportunity to present and show the achievements of various authorized extracurricular activity clubs. In addition, there are some clubs that face difficulties in continuation of their activities due to lack of opportunities to recruit new students because the welcome parties for new students in spring and face-to-face inducements were avoided. Furthermore, quite a few new students are under stress because they could not have enough opportunities to go to school to establish connections between students and to have seniors or friends to talk to. As a result of comprehensive consideration of the above, in 2020 we have decided to hold Kanazawa University Festival for the limited purpose of introducing the activities of various authorized extracurricular activity clubs to new students face-to-face by taking sufficient measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We are sorry to inform this news especially for the neighbors of the Kakuma campus who always look forward to this autumn event when the leaves start to change color. Thank you for understanding.
