9月18日，駐日ベルギー王国大使館からロクサンヌ・ドゥビルデルリング大使，エリザ・カスタルド公司参事官が，金沢市国際交流課職員の方々と来学し，山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問しました。大使は，翌日より金沢21世紀美術館にて開催されるベルギー出身アーティストの展示会オープニングに合わせて来沢するこの機会に，ベルギー王国の機関と学生交流や共同研究等で親交のある本学を訪問。懇談では，今後のさらなる交流の可能性などについて意見が交わされました。
On September 18, H.E.Ms. Roxane de Bilderling, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Japan, Ms. Elisa Castaldo, Deputy Head of Mission and 2 other delegates from International Exchange Section of Kanazawa City paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki. The Ambassador visits Kanazawa to attend an opening ceremony for the Belgian artist’s exhibition, which is held from the following day. The visit on this occasion was arranged because of the Kanazawa University has been fostering close relationships with institutions in the Kingdom of Belgium thorough students and researchers exchange. There were discussions about the possibility of further collaboration between institutions of higher education in the Kingdom of Belgium, and KU.
