新型コロナウイルス感染の拡大を受けて
石川県に緊急事態宣言
昨日，新型コロナウイルス感染の広がりを受けて，石川県，金沢市が独自に緊急事態宣言を出しました。来月6日（水）まで，不要不急の外出を自粛することを徹底するよう要請しております。これを受け，金沢大学でも全ての対面型授業を中止して，当分の間インターネットによる遠隔授業のみで対応します。また，研究室所属の学生・大学院生の研究活動のための登学についても禁止することといたしました。
インターネットを用いた遠隔授業
本学では，現在の厳しい感染蔓延の状況の下でも，教育の機会を最大限確保するため，新学期の授業開始に向けた準備を進めております。その一環として，学生の皆さんの健康と安全を保ちながら，学修の機会を保証するために，4月20日（月）以降に開講する授業は，全てインターネットを活用した遠隔授業（オンデマンド型）として開講することとします。
学生側のインターネット接続環境の違い等によって，さまざまな影響が生じることがありますが，不公平が生じないよう，事後の個別対応も含め，大学として十分な対策を講じますので，安心してください。
新入生には，入学当初から主として在宅授業になりますが，学生の皆さんの有する能力を最大限引き出すことが本学の使命と考えています。学生の皆さんは講義室での対面の授業が始まるまでの間，在宅での十分な学修をお願いします。
課外活動等の禁止
この新型コロナウイルス感染症の特徴として，不顕性感染者（感染したにもかかわらず症状が現れない者）となった若者が，感染拡大を引き起こすことが知られています。学生の皆さんは『自分は感染しない』ではなく，『すでに自分は感染していて，他人にうつす恐れがある』と思ってください。一人一人が金沢大学の構成員，責任ある大人としての自覚と矜持を持った行動を取ることにより，新型コロナウイルスの終息が早まるのです。何卒皆さんのご理解とご協力をお願いします。

Following the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Emergency declaration by Ishikawa Prefecture
In response to the spread of COVID-19, Ishikawa Prefecture and Kanazawa City independently declared a state of emergency yesterday. They have requested that citizens avoid nonessential outings until Wednesday, May 6th. In response to this, Kanazawa University will hold all classes online instead of face-to-face. In addition, we have decided to prohibit students and graduate students who belong to laboratories from commuting to school for research activities.
Distance learning through the Internet
We are preparing for the start of classes in the new semester in order to secure maximum educational opportunities even under the current severe epidemic situation. As part of this, in order to guarantee learning opportunities while maintaining the health and safety of all students, we will hold all classes that start after Monday, April 20th by distance learning (on-demand type) through the Internet.
Although various effects may occur due to differences in the internet connection environment on the student side, please be assured that the university will take sufficient measures including individual support to prevent unfairness.
We believe that our mission is to maximize the abilities of our students. We request our students to study at home until face-to-face classes resume in the lecture rooms.
Refrain from extracurricular activities
A known feature of COVID-19 is that young people who become subclinically infected (those who do not show symptoms despite being infected) spread the infection. Students should not think, "I'm not infected," but instead, "I'm already infected, and I might transmit it to others." Each member of Kanazawa University must act with the awareness and pride of being a responsible adult, thus accelerating the end of the infection. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
