10月7日，国際協力機構（JICA）北陸と本学が協力して実施する草の根技術協力事業「ティカル国立公園への観光回廊における人材育成と組織化支援プロジェクト」の研修員7名が，本邦研修に参加するため来学し，山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問しました。懇談では，グアテマラ，ホンジュラスおよび日本の3カ国における文化遺産の保存の取り組みや今後のさらなる協力の可能性などについて意見が交わされました。
On October 7, 7 trainees from Guatemala and Honduras who participate in the JICA Grass-root Project at Tikal National Park visited Kanazawa University, and paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki. At the meeting, there were discussions about the activities for preservation of cultural resources and the possibility of further collaboration among the three nations.
