本学は10月から11月にかけて平成26年度職員語学研修（英語中級）を実施し，12月3日，同研修の成果報告会を開催しました。
この研修は，本学のグローバル化に向け，教育研究を支える事務職員などの英語力の向上および国際的な知識の涵養を図ることを目的としています。今回は，外国人講師により週2回・全14回の語学指導が行われ，7名の事務職員が受講しました。
報告会では，受講者が「Unique points of Kanazawa University」をテーマに，各自で設定したトピックについて英語でプレゼンテーションを行い，また講評，質疑応答や司会も英語で行われ，大学のグローバル化の風を感じる機会となりました。
Language Training Program 2014 (English Intermediate Course) was carried out from October to November, and its presentation session took place on December 3.
The purpose of this training is to improve English skills and international knowledge of the administrative staff.
At the presentation, trainees presented their topics on the theme of “Unique points of Kanazawa University.” The entire program was conducted in English.
The university has been selected for MEXT “Top Global University Project (Global Traction Type)” and will strive for thorough globalization.
