 Kanazawa University provides various forms of support for students with disabilities, including adjustments to ensure equal access to learning                                         opportunities (reasonable accommodations),support in clarifying learning-related difficulties, and support for developing skills required for university life.

What is “Reasonable Accommodation”?

​​ ​“Reasonable accommodation” refers to the removal of barriers, adjustments, and modifications in the learning environment, made by the university to ensure equal participation in learning for all students.

 ・At Kanazawa University, accommodation details are provided to course instructors in writing.

​・Please plan for the application process to take approximately two months. (It may take longer if additional review or verification is required.)​

・Early consultation is recommended.

About the Support Office for Students with Disabilities

The Office provides consultation services regarding academic and student life matters to students, parents/guardians, and faculty/staff members.
Depending on the nature of the consultation, and with the consent of the individual, the Office may collaborate with relevant departments such as:・the student’s affiliated faculty / school  ・the Health Service Center  ・ the Career Support Office
