From April 3 to August 7, 2026, 13 students from Leiden University in the Netherlands participated in a specially designed exchange program at Kanazawa University.
During the program, the students experienced Japanese culture firsthand while taking courses in Japanese language and Japanese culture and society. By assigning a Japanese student tutor to each participant, we were able to provide detailed support for their daily lives in Japan while also encouraging interaction and exchange with Japanese students.
At the closing ceremony held on the final day of the program, Prof. Dr. Bittmann, Program Coordinator at the International Center for Japan Studies and Education, presented certificates of participation to the students.
