On June 13, the Affiliated Kindergarten held the 72nd Early Childhood Education Research Meeting, with the research theme: “Instructional Plans Woven from the Appearance of Children (Year 3) — Considering Instructional Plans Based on the Appearance of Three‑Year‑Old Children.” Approximately 110 participants attended, including early childhood education professionals from inside and outside the prefecture, as well as teachers and students from all school types—elementary, junior high, high school, and special needs schools.
The research meeting began with an open childcare session at the kindergarten, followed by research presentations. In the afternoon, participants engaged in discussions in age‑specific subcommittees. Afterwards, Mr.Hironobu Saitō, Curriculum Specialist at the Elementary and Secondary Education Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and Professor Akira Sasaki of the Graduate School of Naruto University of Education held a dialogue on the theme “Curriculum from the Perspective of Early Childhood and Elementary Education.”Participants deepened their understanding of early childhood education and reflected on children’s learning and on inter‑organizational connection and collaboration from their respective professional standpoints.
