At Kanazawa university, we implement a summer break and related measures as outlined below, with the goal of helping faculty and staff refresh both mentally and physically, and to further promote energy-saving efforts during the summer season.

Daylight Saving Time
Implementation Period: Wednesday, July 1 – Wednesday, September 30
Applicable Units: In principle, all departments

9:00–16:00 (Weekdays)
● During this period, the number of staff available for services such as counter assistance may be reduced depending on the time of day.
● There will be no changes to class hours or the consultation hours of the University Hospital.
Summer break
夏季一斉休業期間 8月12日（水），13日（木），14日（金）の3日間 ※1
休暇取得推奨期間 8月10日（月）※2
※1 University Hospital will operate as usual.
※2 University Hospital will operate as usual. Takara-machi /Tsuruma campus (Takara-machi district) will operate on a reduced scale.
