On April 25, students from the Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station (hereafter Borasapo), an extracurricular student organization of our university, participated in the “2026 Spring Noto Peninsula Volunteer Activity Report Meeting” held at Toyo University Hakusan Campus. The event was organized by Blue Bibs, a volunteer group at Toyo University engaged in Noto reconstruction support.

During the report session, members of Blue Bibs presented the activities they carried out in spring 2026, along with the insights and experiences they gained through their volunteer work. Following this, Borasapo students reported on their own initiatives, including support activities in disaster-affected areas and their regular, ongoing volunteer efforts.

After the presentations, a group discussion was held under the theme “What We Can Do for Noto.”   Participants exchanged ideas from two perspectives—support that can be provided on-site and support that can be provided from outside the affected area—leading to a meaningful and productive dialogue.
