On June 3, the Management Training for National University Corporations in the Hokuriku Region was held, with 25 participants from six institutions. This training program was designed to enhance the management skills of staff members who have been promoted to department director or section chief level within the past three years.
First, Trustee Yasushi Takinami (in charge of General Affairs, Finance, and Facilities) / Director-General of the Administrative Bureau delivered a lecture titled “Current Trends in Higher Education and the Roles of Managers.” Following this, Mr. Nobuhiko Kasai of BCon Learning Services, Inc. gave a lecture on organizational and personnel management required of managers.
Amid the rapidly changing environment surrounding national university corporations, participants learned about the roles and actions expected of managers in a new era and built networks that transcended institutional boundaries through active discussions.
