On April 14, the Spring‑Awaiting Project “Flowers Blooming in Heiwa-na‑Noda” – Spring Full Bloom Edition was held. Approximately 90 third‑grade students and teachers from the Kanazawa University Affiliated Elementary School, 30 personnel from the Japan Ground Self‑Defense Force Camp Kanazawa, one member of the Camp Kanazawa Cooperation Association, and members of the Heiwamachi Odori Shopping Street Promotion Association participated in a tulip‑picking activity.

These tulips were planted along the roadside of the Camp Kanazawa during the Spring‑Awaiting Project “Flowers Blooming in Heiwa-na‑Noda 2025” held last November as part of a local environmental beautification initiative carried out jointly by three organizations: the Kanazawa University Affiliated School Garden, the JGSDF Camp Kanazawa, and the Heiwamachi Odori Shopping Street Promotion Association.

After the tulip picking, a bouquet presentation ceremony was held. The children handed bouquets to the Self‑Defense Force personnel and local community members to express their gratitude. In return, the SDF personnel also presented bouquets to the children, creating a warm and heart‑warming atmosphere.
