The Engineering and Technology Department of Kanazawa University held the technology exhibition “Engineering and Technology Department EXPO” from March 9 to 12, with the aim of sharing technical expertise both within and outside the university.

In addition to the permanent exhibition that opened on March 9, a live event was held on the final day, March 12, introducing the work of technical staff who support education and research at Kanazawa University through displays such as posters and fabrication samples. Workshops were also offered, including one on mastering the precise handling of micropipettes—an essential skill for research experiments—along with demonstrations and seminars based on specialized knowledge, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of technical practices.

Furthermore, as a new initiative this year, students from Kanazawa High School, the University of Toyama, and the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) presented their activities. The event served as a platform for participants from both inside and outside the university to share their initiatives, fostering new connections and collaborative opportunities.
