The String Ensemble Club of Kanazawa University Affiliated Elementary School will hold a commemorative concert on March 20, 2026, at the Kanazawa City Cultural Hall to celebrate receiving the MEXT Minister’s Award, the highest honor in the 2025 Children’s Music Contest.
The String Ensemble Club won the Grand Prize in the Elementary School Ensemble First Division at the CBC Children’s Music Contest Chubu Japan Final, held last November at CBC Hall (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture). The club also received the MEXT Minister’s Award at the selection meeting held on January 25.
On March 17, the Ishikawa Prefecture Cultural Excellence Award Presentation Ceremony was held, where the club was presented with the Ishikawa Prefecture Cultural Excellence Award by Governor Hiroshi Hase.
