On January 17 and 18, students performed the play "Looking Glass Wonderland in an Endless fleeting life" at the Owari-cho Community Cultural Center. This performance was part of the collaboration with the Owari-cho Shopping Street that Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative is implementing as part of Project: AERU. The students took the initiative in planning and organizing the performance with the aim of communicating the appeal of the Owari-cho Shopping Street and revitalizing the area.

In order to make Owari-cho known to as many people as possible, the students conducted research using reference materials and actually walked around the town to deepen their understanding of the area before working on the production. The performance featured characters based on the motif of Owari-cho's stores, and each of the cast members performed in their own unique way. Kanazawa University students handled everything from scriptwriting and direction to the day's operation.

A total of 124 people visited the exhibition over the two days, and visitors commented, "It was very interesting to see the charm of Owari-cho expressed through "Wonderland,"" "It was fun to watch the show while thinking about it, and it made me want to know more about Owari-cho," and "The characters' personalities were highlighted by the production's use of the building's structure."

The project team of this project will continue to cooperate with the people of the shopping district to exchange opinions and work to solve problems and convey the attractiveness of the shopping street.
