Health Service Center As a part of its student support program, the "Simple Vegetable Breakfast Soup Tasting Event" was held on December 8, 22, and 24 at School of Health Sciences Building No. 3, Natural Science Building, and General Education Lecture Hall.

The purpose of this tasting event was to prevent students from skipping breakfast by introducing them to simple recipes such as soup. Following on from October and November, the free soup was provided as part of the "Food Support Project Against Rising Prices" run by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).

The December menu consisted of "Spicy Pork and Chinese Cabbage Soup" and "White Cream Soup" with chicken and vegetables, both spicy and warming. A student volunteer crew from the center served the soups with recipes under the guidance of a registered dietitian. Many students gathered at each site. School of Health Sciences served 131 cups in Building 3, 120 cups in the Natural Science Building, and 136 cups in the General Education Lecture Hall.

Students commented, "I was glad to have something warming to eat," "I thought it was easy to make by myself, and it was good to warm up my body," "There were many kinds and sizes of ingredients, and it was satisfying," "I hope you will hold this event in the Takara-machi area," etc. The event was very popular.
