On October 14, "Kanazawa University Vocabulary Contest 2025" (hosted by Institute of Liberal Arts and Science, Interfaculty Institute for Future Education, and co-hosted by Kanazawa University Library) was held in the A1 lecture room of the General Education Lecture Hall. The purpose of this contest is to improve basic English skills through a written vocabulary test. This contest is open to undergraduate students of Kanazawa University and was held for the fourth time this year.

This year, 61 students from a wide range of academic years and schools participated in the contest, and the top nine performers were awarded prizes. In addition, 40 participants were selected by lottery to receive a special participation prize, and all participants were given a small participation gift.
