From April 4 to August 7, 2025, 15 students from Leiden University in the Netherlands participated in a specially designed Exchange Program at Kanazawa University.
In this program, while taking classes in Japanese language, culture, and society, the students enjoyed a traditional Kanazawa cultural experience that is unique to Kanazawa University. By assigning one Japanese student tutor to each of them, we were able to provide them with detailed support for their life in Japan while also allowing them to enjoy interaction with Japanese students.
At the closing ceremony held on the last day of the program, Prof. Ota, Vice-Director of International Center for Japanese Studies and Education gave certificates of participation to the students.
