本学には，大学院・別科の学生を対象に，本人の申請に基づき審査のうえ，予算の範囲内で授業料の全額または半額を免除する大学独自の制度があります （大学院・別科には修学支援新制度は適用されません） 。
なお，学士課程学生のうち 令和２（2020）年以降入学者で，修学支援新制度の対象外となる者（私費外国人留学生及び高校等卒業後本学入学までに3年以上経過した者）を対象に実施する本学独自の授業料免除についても，このページで説明します。
また，令和6年度は，令和６年能登半島地震又は新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により家計が急変した学生に対する授業料免除も実施します。
The University has its own system to waive full or half tuition fees for graduate school and Bekka course students within the budgetary limit after examination of the application by the student (the New Study Support System does not apply to graduate school and special course students).
The University’s own tuition fee waiver system for undergraduate students who will be admitted in 2020 or later and who are not eligible for the New Study Support System (privately financed international students and students who have spent more than three years after graduation from high school before entering the University) is also explained on this page.
In the academic year 2024, the University will also offer tuition fee waiver for students whose family finances have suddenly changed due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024 or the effects of a new type of coronavirus infection.

Students of the Graduate School of Medical (Doctoral Course in Medicine, Master’s Course in Medical Sciences) and Graduate
School of Advanced Preventive Medical Sciences, they must submit this form “授業料免除申請大学院学生推薦調書” when applying for tuition fee exemption at the following time.

令和６（2024）年度【前期】授業料免除（新型コロナウイルスによる家計急変）/ Tuition fee waiver（Sudden change in household finances due to COVID-19）
新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により家計が急変した世帯の学生を対象に，審査のうえ予算の範囲内で大学独自の授業料免除を行います。
令和６年４月入学者は，併せて入学料免除も申請可能です。詳細は以下の申請要項を確認してください。
なお，上記の通常の授業料免除との併願はできませんので，いずれか１つを選択して申し込んでください。
The university provides its own tuition fee waiver, within budgetary limits after screening, for students whose households have experienced a sudden change in finances due to the impact of COVID-19.
Students admitted in April 2024 can also apply for an entrance fee waiver. For details, see the application guidelines below.
Please note that it is not possible to apply for this together with the above-mentioned regular tuition fee waiver, so please select one of the two and apply for it.
【対 象 者/Eligible students】
新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により家計が急変し，急変後の家計状況が本学の授業料免除基準を満たす者
Those whose household finances have changed suddenly due to the effects of COVID-19 and whose financial situation after the sudden change meets the University’s tuition fee waiver criteria.

令和６年能登半島地震の直接的・間接的な影響で家計が急変した世帯の学生を対象との学生を対象に，審査のうえ予算の範囲内で大学独自の授業料免除を行います。
なお，学士課程学生（日本人・永住者等）で修学支援新制度の利用が可能な者は，新制度への申込も行ってください（新制度についてはこちら）。
The university offers tuition fee waiver to students whose households have suffered a sudden change in finances as a direct or indirect result of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024, within the limits of the budget after screening.
Undergraduate students (Japanese, permanent residents, etc.) who are eligible to use the new study support system should also apply for the new system (click here for information on the new system).
【対 象 者/Eligible students】
- 令和６年能登半島地震により生計維持者が死亡または行方不明となった者 / Those whose living dependants were dead or missing due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024.
- 令和６年能登半島地震により生計維持者の居住する家屋が「全壊」、「大規模半壊」、「中規模半壊」、「半壊」となった者 / Those whose houses where living dependants reside have been “completely destroyed”, ” largely partially destroyed”, “Medium-scale partially destroyed” or ” half destroyed” by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024.
