10月31日，市内にて第1回金沢大学海外同窓会総会を開催しました。
これは，各海外同窓会間および海外同窓会と本学の間の情報交換と交流の機会として，今回初めて開催したもので，本学の海外同窓会(ベトナム・ミャンマー・タイ・中国)のうち，王安麟（おう あんりん）中国同窓会会長，パーサコーン･キティヨドムタイ同窓会会長および2016年1月に設立を予定しているインドネシア同窓会会長となるアチェプ･プルコン氏が出席しました。
はじめに，山本博理事(国際・同窓会担当)から本総会の開催目的･開催計画について説明があり，その後，各同窓会の活動状況･課題・同窓会同士や同窓会と本学とのネットワーク構築などについて協議を行いました。
On October 31, The First KU Overseas Alumni Association General Conference took place.
This was the first-time opportunity for exchange among the alumni associations and Kanazawa University. From current Overseas Alumni Associations (Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand and China,) Prof. Anlin Wang, Chairman of Alumni Association in China, Dr. Pastsakorn Kitiyodom, Chairman of Alumni Association in Thailand, and Assoc. Prof. Acep Purqon, Chairman-to-be of Alumni Association in Indonesia which will be established in January next year, participated in this event.
First, Vice President Hiroshi Yamamoto explained the objectives and future plans of the general conference, followed by the discussion about current situation, tasks and network building among each alumni association and the University.
