7月11日，金沢市内で，金沢大学ステークホルダー協議会を開催し，約110名の在学生，保護者，高校関係者，地域住民，企業関係者などが出席しました。
これは，日頃から本学へ多大な支援・協力をいただいている方々に対して，本学の教育，研究，運営等の近況を報告するとともに，意見や要望をいただくために行ったものです。学生や保護者，企業関係者に対してなど，個々の対象者の方々との懇談会等はこれまでも行っておりましたが，一堂に会して行うのは，今回が初めてとなります。
協議会では，山崎光悦学長からのあいさつ，各理事からの本学の近況報告の後，出席したステークホルダーの方々との意見交換を実施。意見交換では，卒業生や在学生，保護者など，さまざまな立場の方から本学への要望や激励等，多くの意見をいただくことができました。
On July 11, “Conference for Kanazawa University Stakeholders” took place for the first time in Kanazawa city. Approximately 110 persons including Kanazawa University students, their parents, high school teachers and staff, local residents and people from industry attended the event.
The purpose of the conference is to report the university’s latest status of education, research and, governance to our stakeholders who support and cooperate with Kanazawa University and to ask for their opinions and requests. We used to hold this kind of events separately for students, their parents and local industry, but this is the first time to have all of them gathered at one place.
After the opening address by President Koetsu YAMAZAKI, there were reports on the recent status of the university from Vice Presidents. Afterward, there were active discussions and we received various requests and encouragements of different perspectives from alumni, students and their parents.
