駐日ホンジュラス特命全権大使および在ホンジュラス日本国特命全権大使が来学
 The Ambassador of Honduras to Japan and the Ambassador of Japan to Honduras Visit Kanazawa University

4月16日,マルレーネ・ビジェーラ・タルボット駐日ホンジュラス特命全権大使を講師に迎え,本学人間社会研究域附属国際文化資源学研究センター特別講演会を開催しました。タルボット大使は「日本から見た中米,中米から見た日本:ホンジュラスの事例」をテーマに講演を行い,学生,教職員ら約90名が,ホンジュラスと日本の関係について,理解を深めました。

また,講義に先立ち,タルボット大使および岡田憲治在ホンジュラス日本特命全権大使が山崎光悦学長を訪問し,今後の本学とホンジュラスのさらなる交流等について意見交換が行われました。

本学人間社会研究域附属国際文化資源学研究センターとホンジュラス共和国国立人類学研究所は2013年2月に交流協定を締結し,コパンのマヤ遺跡を中心とした文化資源学分野における協力を進めています。

  On April 16, H.E. Marlene Villela Talbott, the Honduran Ambassador to Japan, visited Kanazawa University and gave a special lecture hosted by the Center for Cultural Resource Studies. H.E. Talbott lectured on “Japan in the Eyes of Central America, Central America in the Eyes of Japan: In the Case of Honduras,” and approximately 90 audience gained a deeper understanding of the relationship between Honduras and Japan.

 Prior to the lecture, H.E. Talbott and H.E. Kenji Okada, the Japanese Ambassador to Honduras, paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki. At the meeting, there was a discussion on the on-going cooperation between Honduras and our university.

 The Center for Cultural Resource Studies at Kanazawa University and the Honduran Institute of Anthropology and History concluded a partnership in February 2013, and they are collaborating in the field of cultural resource studies, especially at the Mayan site of Copan.
