4月2日，学長室にて，コラボラティブ・プロフェッサー委嘱式が行われ，ゲント大学のアンドレアス・ニーハウス教授に，山崎光悦学長から委嘱状が手渡されました。
ベルギーのゲント大学で，南・東アジア言語文化学部の教鞭をとるニーハウス教授は，これまで，本学との学生交流プログラムの構築などに尽力されており，今後，より一層の本学のグローバル化に向けた協力が得られることとなりました。
コラボラティブ・プロフェッサーは，本学の卒業生・修了生及び本学での業務経験者等で，海外の高等教育機関等に所属し，本学の国際化の推進を支援する教員，研究者等に委嘱するもので，海外において本学の学生募集，派遣学生のフォローアップや国際共同研究の推進などを行います。
On April 2, the Conferment Ceremony for Kanazawa University Collaborative Professor took place to the professor of Ghent University. He was handed the conferment certificate from President Koetsu Yamazaki at the President Room in Kanazawa University.
Professor Andreas Niehaus of the department of languages and cultures of South and East Asia, at Ghent University in Belgium, has been putting effort to develop our student exchange program, and we are delighted to receive his continued cooperation toward our university’s further globalization.
Collaborative professor is a title conferred to an individual belonging to overseas institute of higher education who helps promote international exchange activities, recruit students, follows up on exchange students at destination countries, etc.
