Event Details
This lecture explores the past of the region using archaeological sites located on the Kanazawa University campus as the main clues. This time, the focus will be on the Kakuma Site, examining the ancient landscape of Ishikawa during the Nara and Heian periods.
The lecture includes an explanation of the special exhibition held by the Kanazawa University Museum in FY2026, along with an introduction to ancient artifacts excavated not only from the campus sites but also from other locations within and outside the prefecture.
In an era of rapid digitalization, we invite you to take a time‑travel journey into the analog world of more than a thousand years ago to reflect on the future.
