Event Details
Two years and nine months have passed since the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and through ongoing reconstruction efforts, new connections and regional strengths have begun to grow in the affected areas. During this period, Kanazawa University has also conducted research and practical activities across a wide range of fields, and students have achieved significant growth through their involvement on site.
Meanwhile, the series of disasters occurring nationwide—including the Kumamoto Earthquake in July—has once again highlighted the importance of continuously considering disaster preparedness and reconstruction.
This lecture focuses on the regional strengths cultivated through engagement with Noto, research achievements, and student growth, exploring the new values and possibilities that emerge beyond reconstruction.
We look forward to your participation.
