Event Details
This event, “Acanthus Club in Tokyo,” is designed for Kanazawa University alumni who are engaged in management or have management experience. The purpose is to promote continuous dialogue between the University and alumni business leaders, and to create opportunities for diverse participation in University activities.
The first Acanthus Club, held at Kanazawa University in July 2026, received positive feedback from many alumni participants. In response to this, the event will now be held in Tokyo.
On the day of the event, President Takashi Wada will give a presentation, followed by a special lecture and networking session to foster new connections and business networks among alumni.
In the special lecture, Senho Takeda, President and CEO of MVP Corporation (Kanazawa University, School of Science graduate), will speak about initiatives in university‑origin venture capital and university‑origin startups, as well as his experiences and thoughts on business development.
We welcome participants not only from the Tokyo metropolitan area but also from outside the region. We look forward to your participation as an opportunity to deepen connections and encounters that arise uniquely among alumni.
