Event Details
Kanazawa University J‑PEAKS (*) is advancing initiatives toward its 10‑year vision: “Establishing a world‑leading hub that drives societal transformation in an unpredictable era through discontinuous innovation created by integrating the humanities, sciences, and medicine.” To achieve this, J‑PEAKS promotes both advancement of fundamental and interdisciplinary research and acceleration of social implementation.
Part 1, titled “Envisioning Future Society Through ‘Showcase’ Exhibitions,” offers visitors an opportunity to experience how Kanazawa University’s cutting‑edge research may be implemented in future society through interactive displays.
Part 2, titled “The Unknown Universe — Challenging 13.8 Billion Years of Cosmic History,” features lectures by leading researchers from within and outside the university. They will address fundamental questions such as “How did the universe begin?” and “How have galaxies evolved?” based on the latest observations and research findings.
This symposium is designed to be enjoyable not only for researchers and specialists but also for junior and senior high school students and the general public. It will be held in a hybrid format (in‑person and online). We look forward to your participation.
