International Research Seminar: “Global Manga and the Monstrous”

Event Details

Kanazawa University will host an international research seminar featuring Professor Charles Inouye of Tufts University (USA). This seminar connects manga with the monstrous in and thorough postwar Japan, early 1990s Spain, and late 1990s Mexico. With a special place reserved for Mizuki Shigeru (1922-2015), manga artist and folklorist. All interested Kanazawa University students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

*The seminar will be conducted in English.
