Points of Note for New Students

  1. Please be seated by 9:50 a.m. You may not be able to enter the venue after the ceremony begins.
    On the day of the ceremony, attendees will be guided in the following order: the 1st‑floor hall seats, the 2nd‑floor hall seats, and then the Student Viewing Venue (2nd floor of the Kanazawa Theatre).
  2.  Please attend in formal attire appropriate for the ceremony, such as a suit.
  3. The roads surrounding the venue will be congested, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
  4. The Kanazawa Theatre parking lot will not be available. Please use public transportation instead.
  5. Please do not park at nearby facilities or on the street.

Point of Note for Family Members and Guests

Only new students will be allowed to enter the ceremony venue on the day of the event.

※The number of seats at the venue is limited. On the day, attendance will be on a first‑come, first‑served basis, with no reservations or tickets required.
※Please note that parking discounts and cloakroom services will not be available.

Traffic information

Chartered Buses
  • Free chartered shuttle buses will be available in coordination with the ceremony. No reservations are required.
  • Please note that the number of buses is limited. If a bus reaches full capacity, you may not be able to board.
  • Buses may skip stops when they reach full capacity. If you are in a hurry, we recommend boarding at a stop closer to the starting point of the route.
  • Please check the timetable below for departure times, bus stops, and other related information. Buses will not stop at any locations other than those listed.
  • Please arrive early to ensure you are not late for the ceremony.

Kanazawa University Original Goods

At the venue, the Kanazawa University Co-op will set up a booth and sell original university merchandise.  (Please note that only cash will be accepted at the venue.)

Original merchandise will also be available at Kanazawa University Co-op stores on each campus.
Except for the limited-edition items (No.6 and No.7), goods can be purchased on days other than the day of the ceremony.
At Co-op stores, payment can be made by cash or credit card.

You may also place an order with home delivery through the Kanazawa University Co-op website.
(Orders will be accepted until April 24.)

Kanazawa University Original goods (Kanazawa University  Co-op – Support Site for Examinees and New Students 2026)

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the original merchandise will be donated to the Kanazawa University Foundation.

In addition, a Kanazawa University Foundation booth will be set up at the venue, offering thank-you gifts such as original university goods.
All donations received will be used to support student and to further enhance the academic and research environment.

Others

Inclusive (Priority) Seating

For this ceremony, an Inclusive (Priority) Seating area will be provided at the rear of the Live‑Streaming Venue inside the Kanazawa Theatre to ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees. Approximately 15 seats are available in this area.
This seating area is available to anyone who may need consideration, including those with physical disabilities or injuries, for internal health conditions, pregnancy, or sensitivity to sensory or psychological factors.
No reservation or prior application is required.
If you feel any discomfort due to light or noise, please use items such as ear muffs, earplugs, sunglasses, or hats within the area as needed.

We will also set up a Calm-Down Space near the live streaming area. This space is available for anyone who may feel tired from sensory input or who needs a short break to feel comfortable and regain calm.
