Event Details
Noto Resilience and Revitalization Center will host the "1st Mutual Support Workshop: Transforming Anxiety into Peace," with the aim of providing a space where people from communities affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and the Oku-Noto heavy rain disaster can share their thoughts in their own words about mutual support and the restoration of daily life, and work together to envision creative approaches to regional recovery.
This workshop aims to reflect on the mutual support, resourcefulness, and positive initiatives that emerged during the disasters, while re-examining "systems of mutual support" from a social welfare perspective and discovering "hope in everyday life" from the viewpoint of creative recovery. Rather than a one-way lecture by experts, it will serve as a dialogue space where residents can share their heartfelt thoughts and find small steps toward the future. The workshop is open to everyone in the community—those passionate about shaping the future of the region, those interested in social welfare, or anyone who simply wants to enjoy a conversation. We warmly invite you to join us.
