Top Global University Project Symposium was held in Kanazawa University

 On November 27th, Kanazawa University hold the “Top Global University (TGU) Project Symposium, Summary and Aids for New Stage – Making Internationalization in Daily Life, Linking the Region and the World with ‘Future-oriented Intelligence'” with a total of 113 participants (including online) joining from inside and outside the university.
 This symposium aimed to summarize and share the achievements of Kanazawa University’s TGU Project over the past decade. The proceedings began with an opening remark by the university’s president Wada, followed by a distinguished address from Mr. Kobayashi, Director, International Affairs Division, Higher Education Bureau of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Further enriching the symposium, Prof. Shimura, Director of the TGU Planning and Promotion H. Q., presented a comprehensive overview of the project’s outcomes. This event also featured remarkable presentations showcasing distinctive initiatives by related parties inside and outside the university such as a faculty member of overseas university, KU alumni and students. In the Q&A session, inquiries and responses were exchanged, making it a very meaningful event.
 Even after this project ends, we will not stop our efforts and will continue to leverage our achievements and experiences. As a genuine global university, where internationalism is a part of our everyday life, we will promote international initiatives that work together with the world and the region.
