Erasmus+ programme partner university staff visit Kanazawa University

On July 10-15, Mr. Paulo Jorge Pereira Martins visited Kanazawa University from the University of Minho, our university-level partner in Portugal, and received training on Erasmus + staff mobility.

Erasmus+ is the European Union (EU) programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020.

Erasmus+ provides opportunities for more than 4 million European to study, train and gain work experience and perform volunteer work abroad, supporting cooperation and the development of partnerships between European institutions and other parts of the world.

Also from Kanazawa University, the staff of the international department participated in staff training at the University of Minho in May. In addition there are active exchanges on Erasmus+ not only staffs but also students and researchers.

Mr. Paulo had on-the-job training at the Public Relations Office and the International Division. In this training, we prepared an excursion to Shiramine District to understand the cooperation with the area and to have deepen his understanding of Japanese culture. He actively exchanged opinions even in a tight schedule.

Kanazawa University is actively working on Erasmus+ with the aim of further interaction with European universities.
