Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Open University Visits President Nakamura

On Monday, March 10, Chancellor Grace V. Alfonso of the University of the Philippines Open University, President Serafin L. Goyohan of Ifugao State University,Governor Denis B. Habawel of the province of Ifugao and other delegates from the Philippines paid a courtesy visit to President Nakamura. At the meeting, there was a discussion on the on-going cooperation to establish “The Grassroots Projects for the Human Resource Development Program for Sustainable Development of the GIAHS Designated Site ‘Ifugao Rice Terraces’” and future research and student exchanges. The visit was a meaningful occasion for both parties.
