Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Guatemala visits President Nakamura

On Thursday, October 13, the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Guatemala and the other delegate paid a courtesy visit to President Nakamura. The delegates, Minister Escobedo and Advisor Garrido of Cultural and Natural Heritage Vice Ministry of Culture and Sports Ministry visited Kanazawa University in order to promote joint projects regarding Tikal archaeological site in Guatemala. From our university, Vice President for Research and International Affairs Isamu Nagano, Dean Shogo Ikuta of the Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Professor Shinichi Nakamura, and Visiting Professor Seiichi Nakamura were in attendance. A substantial discussion was held to embody future interactions.
