On Wednesday, May 16, President Yussuf Mohammed Al-Jindan and 3 other delegates from King Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attended the signing ceremony for the Memorandum for Cooperation and Exchange with Kanazawa University. Dr. Issam A. Bukhary, Saudi Cultural Attaché, and 1 other staff from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Japan were also in attendance, and from our university, President Shin-ichi Nakamura, Vice President Koetsu Yamazaki, and 3 other faculty and staff were present. After the signing, introduction of university and conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere, which made the ceremony a very substantial event. Afterward, there was a meeting between the delegates and our faculty and staff to discuss the specific exchanges in the future. Also, the delegates visited the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology and the University Hospital before and after the ceremony.
