On July 9, International Student Center hosted a celebratory party for winning the “Good Sweat Prize” at Hyakumangoku-Odorinagashi.of the 64th Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival. The winning team, consisting of many international students, was named “Dancing with the KU President – Kanazawa University aiming to shine locally and globally.”
President Koetsu Yamazaki gave an opening speech, and approximately 50 international students came to this event. They looked back everything from the training sessions to the actual dance contest and enjoyed having conversations with other attendees. As they looked at the slide shows of their dancing pictures, the team members shared their joy and accomplishment and reaffirmed solidarity.
