On January 17, 2023, Kanazawa University concluded the university-level Agreement for Cooperation and Exchange and the Memorandum of Understanding on the Exchange of Students with Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Republic of Senegal.
Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, located in Dakar (the capital of Senegal), is one of the top national universities in Senegal and Africa, having produced a number of notable people and Presidents of Senegal.
With the signing of this agreement, it is expected that the two universities will exchange students and faculty members, as well as develop joint research projects.
