がん研究所・復旦大学上海がん病院　部局間交流協定締結記念シンポジウムを開催
Memorial symposium held celebrating conclusion of department-level agreement with Shanghai Cancer Center, Fudan University

　1月14日，自然科学系図書館AVホールにおいて，本学がん研究所と中国・復旦大学上海がん病院との部局間交流協定締結記念シンポジウムを開催しました。上海がん病院とは2010年7月に部局間交流協定を締結して以来，研究者の交流が続いています。
　シンポジウムでは，各々の部局での研究活動状況の紹介を兼ねて，4名の研究者による講演が行われました。本学中村信一学長をはじめ研究者や大学院生ら約60名が参加し，活発な質疑応答や意見交換が行われ，今後の共同研究が大いに期待される大変有意義なものとなりました。
　なお，これに先立ち，復旦大学上海がん病院の叶定偉副病院長ほか3名が中村学長を表敬しました。本学からは中村学長をはじめ，長野勇副学長（研究・国際担当），古川仭副学長（財務・附属病院担当），がん研究所からは向田直史所長，松本邦夫副所長らが同席しました。両機関は引き続き研究交流を続けていくことで同意しました。

On January 14th, Memorial symposium was held celebrating the conclusion of department-level agreement between Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University and Shanghai Cancer Center, Fudan University (China) at AV Hall of Natural Science and Technology Library. Since July 2010 when both institutions concluded the agreement, mutual exchange of researchers has continued between the two institutions.
At the symposium, four researchers gave their lectures and introduced research activities at their institutions. President Shin-ichi Nakamura and about 60 people including researchers inside and outside of Cancer Research Institute and graduate students attended it. Vigorous question-and-answer session and exchange of ideas took place, and this fruitful symposium is expected to lead to future collaborative researches.
The symposium followed the courtesy call by Prof. Ye Ding Wei, Vice President of Shanghai Cancer Center, Fudan University and three other members, on the President of Kanazawa University. President Shin-ichi Nakamura, Vice President Isamu Nagano in charge of Research and International Affairs, Vice President Mitsuru Furukawa in charge of Finance and Hospital, Director Naofumi Mukaida and Vice Director Kunio Matsumoto from Cancer Research Institute, along with other members attended the meeting. Both institutions agreed to continue research exchanges.
