Participants of the Program “Improvement of School Management in Sub-Saharan Africa” visited to President of Kanazawa University

10月2日（火）に,　「サブ・サハラ・アフリカ地域における学校運営改善」コース研修員が，本学学長を表敬しました。

金沢大学長，JICA北陸支部長の挨拶，そして研修員が一人ずつ自己紹介を行ったのち懇談を行い，研修員は林学長に大学のシステム等について質問するなど，研修員の熱意が伝わりました。

このプログラムは金沢大学教育学部の田邊教授がプログラムリーダーとなりJICA北陸との共催により行われ，アフリカ6カ国(エチオピア，ガーナ，マラウィ，スーダン，ウガンダ，ザンビア)からの参加者12名が，9月13日から10月9日までの約1ヶ月間，金沢大学教育学部を拠点としながら効果的な学校運営等についての認識を深めるために研修を行っています。

On October 2 (Tue.), the participants of the program “Improvement of School Management in Sub-Saharan Africa”, made a courtesy visit to President Hayashi of Kanazawa University.

After the address by President Hayashi and Director General of JICA Hokuriku branch office, each participant introduced themselves, and also asked some questions to President Hayashi. They showed great enthusiasm for learning about university system etc.

This training program is implemented by JICA Hokuriku branch office and the program leader, Prof. Tanabe at the Faculty of Education at Kanazawa University. Twelve participants from six countries, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia have lectures at the Faculty of Education at Kanazawa University etc. for about one month from Sep. 13th to Oct. 9th, 2007 to realize the effective school management and so on.
